I just picked up a second generation Nexus 7 and it just updated to Kitkat 4.4.2
I will play around with it for a few days and post my findings. I'm liking it so far.

App of the Week: Twitter 12/17/2013
Now some might bag on me writing for a well-coded (*), more-commerical app and think "Hey, what about the little guys?"
Now I'm a huge supporter of up-and-coming app creators, and many of them will be featured here. But with the ground-up redesign of the app, Twitter gets a feature this week.
Many of the pros with the new redesign are: A better UI with larger buttons on top, messages are now accessed from the bar at the top of the home screen, and a slight change to the color scheme from before, "Discover" has been featured on the front page as well. The "find people" button has been moved to the bar.
Cons are: Access to your timeline has been moved to a indiscernible button on the extreme right-hand corner. "Discover" now compiles tweets/retweets from people you follow and/or favorite, trending topics, hashtags you've followed, and top posts from people you follow. Making for a jumbled mess at times.
